How do I book a session?
All sessions are booked directly through my online scheduler. Simply choose your session type, select an available date, and complete the booking process. A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date.
What’s the difference between Classic and Storyteller sessions?
Both collections are intentionally designed and story-focused. The difference is in time, pacing, and depth.
Classic sessions are thoughtfully paced and allow time for connection, gentle movement, and meaningful moments.
Storyteller sessions are more unhurried and expansive, allowing space for moments to unfold naturally and for a fuller story to be documented.
How many people are included in a family session?
Family sessions are reserved for immediate family only (parents, children, and pets) and include up to 5 people at no additional cost.
If you’d like to include grandparents or extended family members, please book an Extended Family Session.
Do you photograph extended families?
Yes! Extended Family Sessions are available and include up to 6 people, with the option to add additional people or pets for $25 each.
Where do sessions take place?
Most sessions take place outdoors at locations chosen for light, movement, and storytelling. After booking, you’ll receive a curated list of recommended locations, and we’ll finalize the best option together.
Some locations may require a permit or venue fee, which is the client’s responsibility.
Do you offer wardrobe help?
Yes. Every full session includes a pre-session guide and outfit guidance to help you feel prepared and confident.
Family sessions also include Client Closet access:
What is the Client Closet?
The Client Closet is a curated collection of dresses and pieces available to clients to help with styling. Availability varies by size and session type, and access level depends on the collection booked.
What is included in cake smash sessions?
Cake smash sessions include styling, props, a fully styled setup, the cake, and full setup and cleanup. We begin with pre-cake smash milestone photos, then transition into the cake smash itself.
You just bring the baby — everything else is taken care of.
Can we include family photos with a cake smash?
Yes! The Cake Smash + Family Mini Bundle includes a short family mini session followed by a full cake smash session, all in one seamless experience. You can book “here”
How many images will we receive?
Each collection includes a guaranteed minimum number of hand-edited images, listed clearly in the pricing details. Final galleries are thoughtfully curated to reflect the story of your session.
Do we choose our images, or do you select them?
I personally curate your gallery and select the images for you.
During your session, I capture a wide range of moments—movement, expressions, connections, and details. From there, I carefully choose the strongest images that best tell your story. That means flattering angles, natural expressions, and moments that feel genuine and timeless.
You’ll never receive unflattering images, awkward in-between blinks, or anything I wouldn’t be proud to deliver. My goal is to give you a cohesive gallery filled with your best moments, so you don’t have to sort through or second-guess anything.
When will we receive our gallery?
Typical turnaround time is 2–3 weeks. You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can download your images and order prints.
Do you offer travel outside of Indian Land, SC?
Yes. Travel fees apply for sessions located more than 15 miles from Indian Land, SC.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If weather conditions aren’t ideal, we’ll reschedule to the next available date that works for both of us. I always keep a close eye on forecasts and will be in touch as needed. This applies ONLY to regular sessions. Mini sessions are different.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Yes! I offer mini sessions throughout the year on select dates. Each mini session is offered in three package options, with a set time limit and a curated number of images—making them a great option for families who want something short and sweet.
Mini sessions are offered frequently, but availability and themes vary, so they are not always listed on my main booking page.
How will I know when mini sessions are available?
The best way to stay in the loop is by following me on Instagram and Facebook. I announce mini session dates, themes, and booking details there first, usually through posts and stories.
Where can we see your latest work?
Social media is the best place to see my most recent work. I share sessions, behind-the-scenes moments, and new offerings daily on Instagram and Facebook, so you’ll always get an up-to-date look at my style and current work.
